Message From the Principal

Our vision for the Mary R. Tisko Elementary School is to provide the best possible education for all students in kindergarten through fourth grade within the framework of a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Our staff strives to create a school where the individual child is important and his or her individuality is appreciated.

With a humanistic approach and cooperation and communication between the home and the school, the educational needs of each child will be met. It is our belief, as a staff, that when children feel good about themselves, learning comes easier. In essence, our ultimate goal is to develop life-long learners who are capable and confident, who contribute to their community and who succeed in a changing global society.

Welcome to Mary R. Tisko School. Our students thrive in a warm loving and caring environment. Teachers and students respect each other working together in a learning environment while creating an exciting and challenging learning place for all children. Parents are encouraged to participate and become involved in the education of their child by volunteering in the school, being aware of the curriculum taught, and maintaining an awareness of your child's homework on a daily basis.
